Identifying the Avamar Model:

Log in to the Avamar server and use the following command to find the chassis model of your system:

avsysreport chassis-info 2>/dev/null | grep 'Chassis Model' || echo "Chassis Model: Avamar Virtual Edition"

Example Outputs:

Chassis Model: Gen5a Utility
Chassis Model: Gen4T Utility
Chassis Model: Avamar Virtual Edition

 

Collect Logs:

Follow the instructions provided for the specified chassis model. Once collected, upload the log files to the Service Request.
