Varmista, että sinulla on palvelimen pääkäyttäjän oikeudet.
 
Linuxissa, Windowsissa tai ESXi:ssä, joissa on käytössä PERCCLI-palvelin, käyttöjärjestelmän laitepolku on seuraavanlainen: /dev/sdX, jossa X on aakkosten peräkkäinen kirjain pienillä kirjaimilla, yhdessä tai useammassa muodossa. Esimerkiksi: a, b, c... z, jota seuraavat aa, ab, ac... Zz.

Vaiheet

  1. Kirjaudu palvelimeen.
  2. Näytä VD-tiedot: 
    /opt/MegaRAID/perccli/perccli64 /c0/vall show
    Seuraavankaltainen tulos tulee näkyviin: Näytä VD-tiedot:  
    Tulos näyttää laiteryhmät (DG) ja niihin liittyvät VD:t.
  3. VD:n sovittaminen laitepolkuun:
    1. Suorita seuraava komento: 
      ls –l /dev/disk/by-path/
      Seuraavankaltainen tulos tulee näkyviin: Näytä VD-tiedot: 
    2. Etsi komennon tuloksesta rivi:
      PCI-0000:02:00.0-SCSI-0:2:X:0
      jossa X on VD:lle annettu numero.
    3. Etsi juuri löytämältäsi riviltä SDX rivin lopussa.
      VD: n laitepolku on /dev/sdX.
