Symptoms

De bewerking voor het toevoegen van apparaten is mislukt vanwege IO-fouten.

De mislukte toevoeging werd als volgt in de MDM-logboeken weergegeven:

Kan geen apparaat toevoegen, verminderde capaciteit.

Cause

SDS-tracering laat zien dat de bewerking voor het toevoegen van een apparaat mislukt met IO-fouten als gevolg van een niet-reagerende/trage schijf:

/var/log/messages toonde aan dat de HBA-driver problemen had met de schijf, afbrekingen en time-outs:

Resolution

Nadat de defecte HW is vervangen, doorneemt u alle schijven (inclusief rootschijf: satadom):

  1. Zet de eerste MB van de schijf op nul
  2. Start het SDS-proces opnieuw op SVM
  3. Controleer of de schijf foutloos werkt en wordt versleuteld in CloudLink
  4. Toevoegen aan de storagepool
