Affected Operating Systems:

Currently eSIM is not supported under Ubuntu Linux or any Linux kernel on any of Dells laptops shipped with Mobile Broadband modules or supported by any After Point of Sale (APOS) Cards This is not limited to Dell laptops, the support for eSIM is industry-wide lack of support under Linux kernel.

The only method for mobile broadband connectivity with a mobile carrier is to use a physical SIM card supplied using the SIM slot provided on the laptop - Linux eSIM support is coming soon but currently no kernel is identified for its release date.
