Symptoms

使用 PowerProtect Data Manager UI 进行集中式还原以还原 SQL 系统数据库失败，并显示以下错误：

8 ddbmsqlrc PowerProtect Data Manager critical The tail of the log for the database "model" has not been backed up. Use BACKUP LOG WITH NORECOVERY to backup the log if it contains work you do not want to lose. Use the WITH REPLACE or WITH STOPAT clause of the RESTORE statement to just overwrite the contents of the log.

而从系统数据库的 Microsoft SQL Management Studio 插件恢复工作正常。 

 

Cause

这是按照设计进行的，因为从 Microsoft SQL Management Studio 插件恢复包括“With Replace” 

ddbmsqlrc PowerProtect Data Manager info RESTORE database [model] FROM virtual_device='EMC#6b9e7ed7-77fd-42d6-b6c4-7aee3f5e8fdf', virtual_device='EMC#6b9e7ed7-77fd-42d6-b6c4-7aee3f5e8fdf_2', virtual_device='EMC#6b9e7ed7-77fd-42d6-b6c4-7aee3f5e8fdf_3', virtual_device='EMC#6b9e7ed7-77fd-42d6-b6c4-7aee3f5e8fdf_4' WITH replace, maxtransfersize = 4194304, norecovery

但是，集中式还原不包括“With Replace”

Resolution

PowerProtect Data Manager Agent 19.21 版本中将提供包含“With Replace”以用于系统数据库集中式还原的修复
