Symptoms

Precision 7875 Tower potrebbe non essere in grado di avviare il server PXE e potrebbe continuare ad avviarsi nel sistema operativo. Ciò si verifica quando Wake on LAN/WLAN nelle impostazioni del BIOS è impostato su LAN con avvio PXE e Deep Sleep Control è impostato su Disabled.

Cause

Precision 7875 Tower non trova lo stato del PME (Power Management Event) del dispositivo LAN endpoint PCIe. In questo modo, il computer non è in grado di eseguire l'avvio in PXE quando è Wake on LAN (WOL).

Resolution

Modificare manualmente le seguenti impostazioni nel BIOS:

  • Accedere al menu Power e abilitare l'opzione Enabled in S4 and S5 (Default) in Deep Sleep Control.
  • Accedere al menu Boot Configuration e selezionare I226 NIC card for PXE boot in Boot Sequence.
