  1. 登入 Data Domain 系統並發出下列命令，以確保系統上已啟用 DD Boost。
 DDBoost 狀態
  1. 確認先前建立的儲存裝置處於讀取/寫入狀態：
ddboost storage-unit show
  1. 解壓縮先前下載的應用程式代理程式軟體： 
Gunzip dbappagent30_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
  1. 從焦油球中提取軟體： 
tar -xvf dbappagent30_linux_x86_64.tar
  1. 使用原生作業系統安裝程式 rpm，安裝解壓縮的軟體：
RPM -ivh emcdbappagent-3.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm
  1. 使用以下命令產生應用程式代理程式密碼箱
/opt/ddbda/bin/ddbmadmin -L
  1. 使用您偏好的文字編輯器修改 /opt/ddbda/config/oracle_ddbda.cfg 檔案並更新必填欄位。即

DDBOOST_USER
DEVICE_HOSTDEVICE_PATH
  1. 將 Data Domain 資訊註冊至加密箱：
/opt/ddbda/bin/ddbmadmin -P -z /opt/ddbda/config/oracle_ddbda.cfg
 
此時您應該可以寫入 RMAN 指令檔，以透過 ddboost 將資料庫備份導向至 Data Domain 方塊
