Cause

The REST API response from the Data Domain details that a feature is not enabled.
{"details": "Feature is not enabled.", "code": 5045}

The feature which must be enabled on the Data Domain is Physical Capacity Measurement (PCM).

Resolution

Enable PCM on the Data Domain to take capacity measurements.

1. Log in to the Data Domain with SSH as sysadmin.

2. Run the following command to enable PCM.
compression physical-capacity-measurement enable and-initialize
3 Run the Data Domain backend capacity report again from the Avamar Administrator console, it may take some time.
