Symptoms

  • User is unable to configure LDAP for user authentication on PowerStore.
  • The error received is: 
    Validation failed: [Path '/ldap_servers'] Array is too short: must have at least 1 elements but instance has 0 elements. (0xE04040030001)

Cause

The "Add" button is not clicked so PowerStore has not added the server into its server list.

 

Resolution

  • Click the "Add" button to add the LDAP server to the server list. The server IP should be listed as below.
    Configure Directory Services

  • Click "Apply" to finish the configuration.
