Instructions

The following are actions that take place when the SourceOne Email Management Autodisposition script is run:  

  • The ExAsAdmin process traverses all the PBA (archive) folders and determine whether any of the (MONTHS) within them have gone beyond retention and require disposal.  

  • The process finds all the MONTHs (entire month has to meet the retention) that are beyond the retention. 

  • It places the folder delete requests in the database. 

  • The folder(s) (YYYYMM) is deleted from the database, container and index by the ExAsArchive and ExAsIndex processes.  

  • The status of the job is updated as completed in the database.
