Symptoms

Unindexable messages or messages with unindexable attachments cause the entire index to fail indexing and the index state changes to Missing Items in the SourceOne Console. 

The following errors are reported in the ExAsIdxObj.exe log file:

Cause

The cause for this issue is related to how SourceOne handles indexing of failed documents.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in SourceOne Email Management 7.2 Service Pack 6 or later.
