Introduzione

Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) consente allo switch di pubblicare le funzionalità principali e le descrizioni fisiche. LLDP è definito in IEEE 802.1AB. Queste informazioni possono essere utilizzate per identificare la topologia di sistema e rilevare configurazioni errato sulla LAN. 

  • LLDP è un protocollo unidirezionale; non sono presenti sequenze di richieste o risposte. Le stazioni che implementano la funzione di trasmissione pubblicizzano le informazioni e le stazioni che implementano la funzione di ricezione ricevono ed elaborano le informazioni.
  • Le funzioni di trasmissione e ricezione possono essere abilitate o disabilitate separatamente su ciascuna porta dello switch. 
  • LLDP è un protocollo di discovery indipendente dal vendor. 
  • Lo switch riceve e trasmette periodicamente le unità dati del protocollo LLDP (PDU). L'intervallo di trasmissione predefinito è 30 secondi.
  • Le informazioni sulle PDU LLDP ricevute da un dispositivo contiguo scadono dopo un determinato periodo di tempo, denominate time to live (TTL). Il valore TTL predefinito è 120 secondi.
  • Le porte bloccate spanning tree consentono PDU LLDP.

Sintassi di configurazione

NOTA: Le tabelle LLDP vengono aggiornate in 120 secondi (TTL) dopo qualsiasi modifica alla configurazione LLDP.

Abilita e disabilita LLDP.  

Enable LLDP Globally
admin@DELLSONiC:~$ sonic-cli
DELLSONiC# configure
DELLSONiC(config)# lldp enable
DELLSONiC(config)# end

Disable LLDP Globally

Enable LLDP on a single interface

Configurazione della trasmissione LLDP

L'esecuzione di questi comandi disabilita la ricezione LLDP. 
Enable LLDP Transmit Globally

Configurare la ricezione LLDP

L'esecuzione di questi comandi disabilita la trasmissione LLDP.

Abilitare LLDP Transmit and Receive.

Per impostazione predefinita, l'opzione LLDP transmit and receive (Trasmissione e ricezione LLDP) è abilitata per impostazione predefinita.
Se è stata configurata la trasmissione LLDP, la ricezione LLDP viene disattivata.
Se la ricezione LLDP è configurata, la trasmissione LLDP viene disattivata.
Per attivare entrambe le opzioni, rimuovere la ricezione LLDP e la trasmissione LLDP. 
Enable LLDP Transmit and Receive Globally 
admin@DELLSONiC:~$ sonic-cli 
DELLSONiC# configure 
DELLSONiC(config)# no lldp receive
DELLSONiC(config)# no lldp transmit
DELLSONiC(config)# end

Abilitare LLDP per inviare l'indirizzo di gestione, il nome e la descrizione del sistema.

Per impostazione predefinita, LLDP pubblica il nome del sistema e la descrizione del sistema.
Per pubblicizzare l'indirizzo di gestione tramite LLDP, è necessario configurare manualmente l'indirizzo di gestione lldp tlv-select .   
Use bellow configuration to enable system-name, system-description and management-address
DELLSONiC# configure
DELLSONiC(config)# lldp system-name 
DELLSONiC(config)# lldp system-description 
DELLSONiC(config)# lldp tlv-select management-address
DELLSONiC(config)#end

Disable system-name, system-description and management-address
DELLSONiC# configure

You have an option to manually specify the IPv4/IPv6 address of management address manually
DELLSONiC# configure
DELLSONiC(config)# interface Eth slot/port[/subport]
DELLSONiC(config-if-Eth1/1)# lldp tlv-set management-address
DELLSONiC(config-if-Eth1/1)# end *Applying this command will make Switch to send LLDP in the specific interface with configured IPV4/IPV6 address, rather than management port IP address. To disable use DELLSONiC# configure DELLSONiC(config)# interface Eth slot/port[/subport] DELLSONiC(config-if-Eth1/1)# lldp tlv-set management-address DELLSONiC(config-if-Eth1/1)# end
