Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager UI logger følgende fejl ved Instant Access Restore: 
ARV0037: VM Direct engine is unable to restore the virtual machine 'SQL01' on vCenter 'vc70.myorg.local' because the virtual machine reconfiguration was unsuccessful.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete the restore of this virtual machine because the reconfiguration of the virtual machine on the vCenter cannot be successfully completed.
Verify that the datastore has enough free space for the operation.     <====  This message is misleading. IA restore creates its now NFS datastore. No need to troubleshoot datastore space issue

Cause

PowerProtect Data Manager Engineering forstår, at problemet er relateret til en forældet ESXI-værtscache.

Resolution

Den permanente løsning er at opgradere til PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15, når den er tilgængelig.

Følgende løsninger kan bruges til at gendanne VM, indtil PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15 er tilgængelig.

1. Gendan VM til en anden vSphere-klynge end kilde-VM'ens klynge.
2. Kontakt Dells tekniske support for at få en binær diagnosticering, der kan anvendes på Protection Engine for at fuldføre gendannelsen.
