Symptoms

L'interfaccia utente di PowerProtect Data Manager registra il seguente errore per il ripristino ad accesso immediato: 
ARV0037: VM Direct engine is unable to restore the virtual machine 'SQL01' on vCenter 'vc70.myorg.local' because the virtual machine reconfiguration was unsuccessful.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete the restore of this virtual machine because the reconfiguration of the virtual machine on the vCenter cannot be successfully completed.
Verify that the datastore has enough free space for the operation.     <====  This message is misleading. IA restore creates its now NFS datastore. No need to troubleshoot datastore space issue

Cause

I tecnici di PowerProtect Data Manager comprendono che il problema è correlato a una cache host ESXI obsoleta.

Resolution

La risoluzione permanente consiste nell'eseguire l'aggiornamento a PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15, se disponibile.

È possibile utilizzare le seguenti soluzioni alternative per ripristinare la VM fino a quando non è disponibile PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15.

1. Eseguire il restore della VM in un cluster vSphere diverso rispetto al cluster della VM di origine.
2. Contattare il supporto tecnico Dell per ottenere un binario di diagnostica che può essere applicato all'engine di protezione per completare il ripristino.
