Secure Boot Keeps Its Original State When the System is Connected to a Monitor Using the Non-TBT Dock

Symptoms
Connect a Monitor to the computer using Dock or Dongle, then press F2 to enter the BIOS. When changing the Secure Boot option to Enable or Disable, the Secure Boot option keeps its original state.

- Inspiron 14 5441
- Latitude 7455

Cause
The system could be conflicted if we receive a reset notification while exit BIOS menu with external monitor attached and it power off internal monitor.
Resolution
Change the Secure Boot Option without connecting the external monitor.
Updating to the latest BIOS version on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, reference BIOS Update Guide.
