The issue is caused by the expiration of the VASA certificate. Since Unity does not support generating or renewing the VASA certificate, the expired certificate cannot be replaced from the storage array.

Engage the vSphere administrator to generate a new VASA certificate through vCenter. Once the certificate has been created, re-establish the SSL connection between vCenter Server and the VASA Vendor Provider (VP), and register the new certificate. After successful registration, verify that the VASA Provider is online and communicating normally with vCenter.
