Open the Administrator client interface.
1. Select Backup and Restore.
2. Select the client from the domain tree (left side).
3. Select the Manage tab (right side).
4. Select the day of the 'slow' backup from the calendar.
5. Select the backup, and right-click it.
6. Select View statistics.
7. Select 'Files' or 'File Aggregation'.
An output similar to the following appears, showing a sample of files which the Avamar backup took a long time to process, along with statistics:
This shows us that one particular file (a ~3.6 GB .avp) took 2489 s (41 minutes) to be backed up.
A second, smaller.avp file was also backed up and took 158 s to be processed.
