Symptômes

All'interno di PPDM, quando si tenta di eseguire la discovery di un asset Microsoft SQL Server, la discovery potrebbe non riuscire con i seguenti errori: 
ADA0002: Unable to discover ASSETS on host  because of an agent issue.
Unable to perform applications discovery because agent failed to create the discovery session.
Oppure 
ASDS0018: Discovery of Assets failed on the host  for AddOn MICROSOFT_SQL_DATABASE_SYSTEM.

Nel registro DPSApps\AgentService\logs\OpAgentSvc*, viene registrato il seguente errore: 
ErrCode: -2147467259, Error: SSL Provider: The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.

Cause

L'errore è causato dal fatto che "Force protocol encryption" è abilitato nella configurazione del client nativo SQL in SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Résolution

Per risolvere il problema, attenersi alla seguente procedura:

  1. Aprire SQL Server Configuration Manager
  2. Cliccare con il pulsante destro del mouse su SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration e selezionare Properties.
  3. Impostare il valore Forza crittografia protocollo su No e selezionare OK.
  4. Eseguire la stessa procedura per la configurazione sql Native Client 11.0 (32 bit)
  5. Riavviare SQL Server
  6. Una volta che l'SQL Server è operativo, eseguire discovery dall'interfaccia utente di PPDM.

A volte, potrebbe essere necessario annullare la registrazione o disinstallare l'Agent e reinstallarlo per il funzionamento della discovery.
