Sintomi

En PPDM, cuando se intenta ejecutar un descubrimiento de un recurso de Microsoft SQL Server, el descubrimiento puede fallar con los siguientes errores: 
ADA0002: Unable to discover ASSETS on host  because of an agent issue.
Unable to perform applications discovery because agent failed to create the discovery session.
O bien, 
ASDS0018: Discovery of Assets failed on the host  for AddOn MICROSOFT_SQL_DATABASE_SYSTEM.

En el registro DPSApps\AgentService\logs\OpAgentSvc*, se registra el siguiente error: 
ErrCode: -2147467259, Error: SSL Provider: The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.
 
 
En los registros de eventos del sistema en SQL Server, se pueden registrar uno o más de los siguientes errores:

Causa

La falla se debe a que "Forzar cifrado de protocolo" está activado en la configuración del cliente nativo de SQL en SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Risoluzione

Para resolver el problema, siga los pasos que se indican a continuación:

  1. Abra el Administrador de configuración de SQL Server
  2. Haga clic con el botón secundario en SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration (Configuración de cliente nativo de SQL 11.0) y seleccione properties (Propiedades).
  3. Establezca el valor Forzar cifrado de protocolo en No y seleccione Aceptar.
  4. Realice los mismos pasos para la configuración de SQL Native Client 11.0 (32 bits)
  5. Reinicie SQL Server
  6. Una vez que SQL Server esté en funcionamiento, ejecute Discovery desde la interfaz del usuario de PPDM.

En ocasiones, es posible que sea necesario anular el registro o desinstalar el agente y reinstalar para que el descubrimiento funcione.
