OneFS supports the following distributions of the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). The information below is based on Isilon testing and validation.

KEY:

A black square ■ in a cell indicates support for that family of OneFS.
An exact version number in a cell indicates the minimum supported version.
A "P-XXXXXX" in a cell indicates the specific OneFS patch that must be installed for support.
A blank cell indicates an unsupported version.
Some cells are labeled to indicate future support.

Notes:

Cloudera Replication Manager: Replication from CDH to CDP is supported with OneFS as a file system.
CDP 7.1.7 SP1 has been functionally validated on OneFS 9.4. Dell EMC, Cloudera QATS, and Partner Solution Team have verified the results and have signed off the supportability.
Hadoop (include 2.7-3.0) is not supported by OneFS 9.5, but is supported by OneFS 9.1-9.4. It's recommended for Hadoop customers not to upgrade to OneFS 9.5.
In-place upgrades from CDH/HDP to CDP on OneFS is certified and supported now as below:
1. HDP 2 to CDP 7.1.7
2. HDP 3 to CDP 7.1.7
3. CDH 5 to CDP 7.1.7
4. CDH 6 to CDP 7.1.7
5. CDP 7.1.6 to CDP 7.1.7 SP1

* No upgrade currently
