NetWorker NVP-vProxy: Backup non riusciti con errore "Unable to open previous backup"

Symptomen

L'integrazione NetWorker VMware Protection è configurata con l'appliance vProxy. I backup non riescono in modo coerente a indicare che il vProxy non è in grado di aprire il backup precedente su Data Domain (DD).

Il registro della sessione di backup mostra il seguente errore: 
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR: [@(#) Build number: ##] Failed to open Backup Descriptor file "/[MTREE2_NAME]/[DEVICE_NAME]/52/00/c2b12b8b-00000006-9f9924fb-5b9924fb-12625000-0e1bbb56/BackupDescriptor.json".

Oorzaak

Il dispositivo DDBoost su cui venivano scritti i backup vProxy è stato modificato. L'errore veniva visualizzato perché il backup incrementale precedente non era presente sul nuovo dispositivo.

Oplossing

Questo comportamento funziona come previsto.

Se i dispositivi Data Domain vengono modificati, impostare un'override della pianificazione sul criterio ed eseguire un nuovo backup completo di livello sui nuovi dispositivi.
