Symptomer

Sophos Intercept X does not quarantine the detected malware and infected files.

 

Årsak

It prevents access to the infected file and send an email notification to the Administrator. This behavior is different from the other AV vendors that OneFS supports.

 

Oppløsning

Since the infected file is not quarantined, it could be part of a snapshot (or a dataset) and copied to another OneFS system. If the second OneFS system does not have an antivirus software, the infection could spread.
