NetWorker NMM SQL Server externe agent kan niet worden geregistreerd. Wanneer NMM op een SQL-server is geïnstalleerd, moet deze (automatisch) een externe agent registreren bij NetWorker.
Met behulp van deze opdracht

nsrnmsqlra -i 

 

Dit kan niet worden geregistreerd met fout:  Kan de clientzijde met de naam pipe voor authenticatie niet openen:

De oorzaak is gerelateerd aan het Windows(SMB) Server Message Block-protocol.

Het Microsoft Windows-besturingssysteem gebruikt benoemde pijpleidingen voor authenticatie en toegang tot bestanden, printers en shares.

Genoemde pijpleidingen gebruiken Server Message Block (SMB) als het onderliggende transportprotocol.   

Wanneer SMB is uitgeschakeld, mislukt de NMM-externe agent vanwege authenticatie waarvoor het gebruik van genoemde pijpleidingen vereist is.

This is windows requirement.
 
During authentication process, Server will create the named pipe file in the client and open the named pipe to get the RPCSEC_GSS 
credentials. But when SMB protocol is disabled,  server fails to get the details from the client.

OPMERKINGEN

1. Op Microsoft Windows-servers is standaard de SMB1-functie geïnstalleerd. 

2. Vanaf Windows 2019 Server is SMB1 niet standaard geïnstalleerd.
Als SMB ook wordt uitgeschakeld op hetzelfde moment dat SMB1 niet is geïnstalleerd, mislukt de externe agent.
