This error occurs when a nondefault VMkernel interface (as in, vmk5) is incorrectly tagged with the Management network role. By design, only vmk0 and vmk2 are expected to carry the Management tag. If any other VMkernel interface is assigned with this tag, the VxRail Manager fails to identify the correct management path, resulting in a KeyError during node validation.
Rozwiązanie
- If any other VMkernel interface (e.g., vmk5) is tagged with Management, remove the tag in the vSphere UI
- Retry the node addition process.
