SNMP alerts sent even though DLm is in Maintenance Mode

Symptoms
SNMP DISABLE issued for all VTEs before engineer upgraded code level. During the upgrade, SNMP notifications were still received for several DLmV0198E messages from both VTE1 and VTE2 and one DLm3457E message. Business Impact: Unwanted incident tickets opened for events that should not be.
Cause
The main cause of the issue is that SNMP is not handled by "maintenance mode."
Resolution
A product enhancement was opened, requesting "maintenance mode disable all snmp alerts.” There is no guarantee when this will be addressed, but developers will keep tracking it and it should be fixed in a future release.
