Symptoms

Precision Workstations may experience intermittent network connections or connection failures. The issue occurs on the computer installed with Intel E810 network adapters when using SFP28 optical module.

Cause

This is due to the issue with network card firmware.

Resolution

Updating to Intel NIC Family Version 22.5.7 Firmware for Intel E810 Adapters version 22.5.7 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the firmware, reference How to Download and Install Dell Drivers.
