Problem Description:

DDVE deployment over Azure Stack HCI environment failed and below unsupported alert is seen:

Alert seen:
------------
p0-2 Wed Nov 27 04:06:11 2024 CRITICAL Environment Component=IDE EVT-ENVIRONMENT-00040: Unsupported virtual hardware configuration.

Symptoms:

DDVE deployment over Azure Stack HCI environment failed it does not detect boot disk.

 

Cause

Applies To:
DDVE in Azure

 

Resolution

DDVE does not support the Azure stack HCI yet. It will be a new requirement.
