NVP-vProxy: FLR restore fails with error "Unable to get partition information: exit status 2"

• The virtual machine (VM) for which FLR was being performed had an hard disk added to it which was unpartitioned.
• The NetWorker VMware Protection integration is configured with the vProxy Appliance.
• NetWorker 19.7.0.x (vProxy 4.3.0-22) and prior.
• A virtual machine (VM) FLR restore is being performed in the environment and fails with below error:

Solution:

A code fix was released to skip the unformatted disk.

• Upgrade the NetWorker server to 19.7.0.x or later.
• Upgrade the vProxies to 4.3.0-29 or later.

Workaround:

Prior to NetWorker 19.7.x and vProxy 4.3.0-29, perform an Instant Recovery of the VM. This creates a temporary (offline) copy of the VM on the Data Domain system.
