NVP-vProxy: Backups fail with "Unable to open session to target device "DFC-name"

症状

The NetWorker VMware Protection integration is configured with the vProxy Appliance.  The backups are failing to establish a connection to the configured DDboost devices.  The error in the backup session log shows: 
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR: [288] [ 4143] [140485293242112] Sun MONTH DD HH:MM:SS YYYY
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR: [288] ddp_connect_with_config() failed, Hostname: DFC-name, Err: 5008-DDP DFC Register Failed.
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR: [288] Unable to open session to target device "DFC-name".
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS TRACE: [288] Checking final status...
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS TRACE: [288] Set state to failed.
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR: [288] Backup has FAILED.

原因

The DDboost device is cofigured over fiber channel.

解决方案

Ensure that you have followed the Configuring Direct Fibre Channel (DFC) for vProxy section of the NetWorker VMware Integration Guide.
