Dell EMC Unity: Message ID: 14:604b5 A Drive in Unity has failed and requires replacement (User Correctable)

There is a faulted disk in the Dell EMC Unity system.

Message ID: 14:604b5  "The system has copied data from drive DAE X Y Disk Z reached end-of-life to a spare drive, and it has taken the worn out drive offline. This drive needs to be replaced (Part Number xxx-xxx-xxx, Serial Number yyyyyy)"

Due to normal system usage, it is common for a drive to surpass its expected life expectancy. This is to help ensure both system stability and protection of the user data. Proactively removing the drive ensures system stability by avoiding the problems of a drive starting to fail, then subsequently resulting in user data corruption.

NOTE: The system is configured to automatically copy the data off of the drive to a compatible replacement drive. This helps ensure protection of the user data and consistent performance on the allocated replacement drive.
