Troubleshooting Purchased Apps
Dell Optimizer 6.x Purchased Apps enables access to software purchased with a commercial or consumer Dell computers running Windows.
Note:
- Microsoft Office that was purchased with a Dell computer is available directly on the factory image and not through Purchased Apps. For more information, reference: How to Find and Activate Microsoft Office 2019, 2021, 2024 or 365 on Your Dell Computer
- Software that was purchased separately through Dell.com is available at Dell Digital Locker.
- The Purchased Apps module is integrated into Dell Optimizer 6.x.
The following steps can be done to help troubleshoot issues with Purchased Apps.
- Open a web browser and navigate to Dell.com.
- If the site does not load, confirm that the computer has a stable Internet connection and resolves any connectivity issues before proceeding.
Note: If your network uses a proxy or firewall, be sure that Cloud.Dell.com is allowed through those controls so the application can reach Dell's cloud services.

- After confirming Internet access (and, where applicable, that Cloud.Dell.com is not blocked.)
- Launch the Dell Optimizer 6.x application.

- Select Purchased Apps from the dropdown menu.
- Click the ? icon next to the page header to get to the help screen.

- From the help screen, select Refresh to re-retrieve entitlements.

- Close the Dell Optimizer application.
- After 1 minute, launch the Dell Optimizer application and Check Purchased Apps.
- If the issue persists, contact Dell Technical support.
