Removing the memory module

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. hard drive
    3. optical drive
  3. To remove the memory module:
    1. Press the memory module retention tabs on both sides of the memory module.
    2. Lift the memory module from the memory module connector on the system board.
