Installing the system board

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

Installing the power-button assembly

Steps

  1. Thread the power-button cable through the slot on the chassis and push the power-button assembly in place on its slot on the chassis.
  2. Route the power-button cable through the routing guide on the chassis.
  3. Connect the power-button cable to the system board.
