Introduction

The Installation and Upgrade Guide outlines the steps to install the UCC Edge 3.0.X application using OVA or ISO files and also to upgrade to UCC Edge v3.0.X.

NOTE:
  • Only a single disk installation is supported.
  • The .pkg file from the 3.X.X series can only be used to upgrade UCC Edge versions starting from 3.0.0 and above. It cannot be used to upgrade from any 2.X.X versions.

This document focuses on the deployment of UCC Edge on VMWare. You can also use the UCC Edge ISO file to deploy the software on different Hypervisors by providing the following resources that are assigned to the VM:

  • 4 x vCPU (1 GHz or faster CPU).
  • Minimum 100 GB disk space, thick provisioned.
  • Minimum of 16 GB RAM.
  • 1 GB of Network Interface with connectivity to each asset or asset management server.
