Removing the Access Panel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove battery.
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the access panel to the computer [1].
    2. Lift the access panel partially at a 45–degree angle [2].
