Installing the M.2 SSD

Steps

  1. Place the M.2 SSD into the slot on the palmrest [1].
  2. Replace the single (M2x2) screw to secure the M.2 SSD to the palmrest [2].

  3. Align and place the SSD support bracket above the M.2 SSD [1].
  4. Replace the two (M2x3) screws to secure the SSD support bracket to the palmrest [2].

Next steps

  1. Connect the battery cable to the connector on the system board.
  2. Replace the base cover.
  3. Replace the microSD card.
  4. Follow the procedure in after working inside your computer.
