Dell Latitude E5270 Owner's Manual

If the system is shipped with PCIe SSD perform the following steps.

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
      
      
   2. battery
      
      
3. To remove the PCIe SSD:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the SSD bracket to the SSD [1].
   2. Remove the SSD bracket [2].
   3. Remove the SSD from the computer [3].
   4. Remove the thermal pad from the computer.
