Removing the power connector port

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. dock frame

  3. To remove the power connector port:
    1. Remove the screw to release the metal bracket on the power connector port [1].
    2. Lift the metal bracket from the computer [2].
    3. Disconnect the power connector port cable from the computer [3].
    4. Remove the power connector port from the computer [4].
