Installing the Hard Drive

  1. Engage the hard-drive isolation cap to the hard drive.Figure displaying how to install the hard-drive isolation cap on the hard drive.
  2. Place the hard drive on its connector.
  3. Place the hard-drive bracket on the hard drive and tighten the screws to secure the hard-drive bracket in place.
  4. Install:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
