Removing the I/O Board (Right)

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. SD card
    2. battery
    3. base cover
    4. keyboard trim
    5. keyboard
    6. memory
    7. optical drive
    8. hard drive
    9. WLAN card
    10. display hinge
    11. palmrest
    12. system fan
    13. ExpressCard cage
    14. system board
  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the I/O board on the computer.
    2. Lift the I/O board and remove from the computer.Figure displaying how to remove the right IO board from the computer.
