Removing the Hard Drive

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket in place.
    2. Slide and pull the hard drive to remove from its connectors.Figure displaying how to remove the hard drive from the computer.
