Removing the Switch Board
Steps
- Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
- Remove the:
- battery
- base cover
- keyboard trim
- keyboard
- optical drive
- hard drive
- palmrest
- Disconnect the switch-board cable from the system board
and remove it from the latches. Remove the screws that secure the
switch board to the computer and remove it from the computer.
