Removing the Memory

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
  3. Perform the following steps to remove the memory module(s) from the computer:
    1. Pry the retention clips away from the memory module(s) until the memory module(s) pop-up.
    2. Remove the memory module(s) from the computer.
