Removing the Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) Card

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
  3. Remove the adhesive tape that secures the antenna cables to the WWAN card. Figure displaying how to remove the adhesive tape that secures the antenna cables on the WWAN card.
  4. Perform the following steps to remove the WWAN card:
    1. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WWAN card.
    2. Remove the screw that secures the WWAN card to the computer.
    3. Remove the WWAN card from the computer.
