Install and Upgrade Guide describes how to deploy a new instance of PowerFlex 4.8.x and provides instructions to upgrade existing
3.6.x or 4.5.x PowerFlex deployments to PowerFlex 4.8.x.
Use this guide only for PowerFlex software
installations and upgrades. PowerFlex rack and PowerFlex appliance customers should not use this document

PowerFlex Manager 4.8.x includes the catalog core package
4.5.5 and above.

CAUTION:PowerFlex
file and file services are supported only for PowerFlex systems with PowerFlex Manager 4.6.x
and earlier. If using PowerFlex file services, you must remove any file services
configuration before upgrading to PowerFlex Manager 4.8.x and PowerFlex 4.5.5.
