Procedure

  1. Turn the computer over.
  2. Disconnect the processor-fan cable, video-card fan cable, hard-drive cable and power-adapter port cable from the system board.

  3. Turn the computer over.
  4. Disconnect the speaker and front AlienFX LED cables from the system board.
  5. Lift the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the system board.

  6. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the computer base.
  7. Lift the system board off the computer base.

  8. Remove the wireless card.
  9. Remove the heat sink.
  10. Remove the coin-cell battery.
