When RAID cannot fail a disk as requested by the Storage Subsystem Monitor (SSM), the Data Domain system generates an EVT-STORAGE-00026 alert. Usually, the condition is transient — the system automatically retries and successfully fails the disk after approximately 24 hours. Data Domain sysadmin/SO password resets no longer require Support intervention when running DDOS (7.10.1.40 or newer). A password reset token is sent to the registered email address. When requesting license for a HA system, make sure that you send the serial number of both the heads to the licensing team. 'ha create peer' fails with the following error "Failed to configure HA: peer node locking id <> does not match with ELMS license file"

Data Domain High Availability (DDHA) workaround for an initial IP configuration issue. 'config setup' doesn’t work in case of DDHA. It will give the following error "ethxxx is used for the interconnect and cannot be configured". CE will have to configure the management IP manually to bring both heads on network. Configure HA manually.

An issue was identified on cloud Data Domain Virtual Edition (DDVE) using an Active Tier on Object Store (ATOS) configuration. The issue is caused when a DDVE has more than one active capacity license subscription assigned to the DDVE, but one of them is expired.
