Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Rotate the latch release lock counter clockwise to the unlocked position.
Open the latch on the system cover
Slide system cover toward the back and using the latch lift system cover up from system.
Cooling Shroud
Identify the cooling shroud highlighted in blue
Holding the touch points, lift the cooling shroud away from the system.
Exp. Card (Riser 3)
Identify the expansion card in expansion card riser 1 highlighted in blue
Press tab A and rotate the latch clockwise.
Press tab B and rotate the latch down.
Pull the card until its connector disengages from the expansion card connector on the riser. Remove the expansion card from the expansion card riser.
Riser 3
Identify the expansion card riser 2 highlighted in blue
Grip the release tab and lift the riser from the riser connector on the system board
Install
Riser 3
Identify the expansion card riser 2 location highlighted in blue
Lower the riser into the system until the riser connector engages with the connector on the system board
Exp. Card (Riser 3)
Identify the expansion card in expansion card riser 1 location highlighted in blue
Insert the card edge connector firmly into the expansion card connector on riser until the card is fully seated
rotate anticlockwise to lock latch
rotate up to close latch
Cooling Shroud
Identify the cooling shroud location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the cooling shroud with securing slots on the system, then lower the cooling shroud into the system until firmly seated.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue
Align the slots on the system cover with the tabs on the system.
Push the system cover latch down. The system cover slides forward and the slots on the system cover engage with the tabs on the system.
Rotate the latch release lock clockwise to the locked position.
