Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Using a phillips screwdriver to turn the side panel latch to the unlocked position.
Pull the release latch to release the side cover from the system.
Push the latch and release the side cover from the system.
Lift the side cover away from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue.
Hold the top air shroud at the grip points and pull it upwards out of the system.
PCIe Holder
Identify the PCIe holder highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the PCIe power cables from the PCIe holder.
Remove the PCIe power cables from the slots on the PCIe holder.
Push the PCIe holder lock into the unlock position.
Push the latch lift and remove the PCIe holder out of the system.
Bottom air shroud
Identify the bottom air shroud highlighted in blue.
Pull and release the tab on the bottom air shroud cover and remove the cover from the computer.
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Unroute the cables from the routing guides on the system board.
Remove the screws that secure the bottom air shroud from the system board.
Remove the bottom air shroud upwards and out of the computer.
Hard Drive Assembly internal
Memory Modules
M.2 heat sink
Identify the M.2 heat sink highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secures the M.2 heat sink from the system board.
Lift and remove the M.2 heat sink from the computer.
Solid State Drive
Front bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue.
Gently pry the retention tabs to release the front bezel from the system.
Rotate the front bezel outward from the system and remove the front bezel.
Hard Drive Fan Assembly
Identify the hard drive fan assembly highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the SATA power, thermal sensor, PCIe, and fan cables from the system board.
Open the lid of the bottom air shroud cover.
Unroute the SATA power, thermal sensor, PCIe and fan controller cables from the bottom air shroud cover.
Remove the screws that secure the fan assembly from the chassis.
Lift and remove the hard drive fan assembly from the computer.
Internal Hard Drive Cage
Identify the hard drive cage highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the SATA power and SATA data cables from the connectors on the system board.
Remove the screws that secure the hard drive cage from the chassis.
Lift and Remove the hard drive cage out of the chassis.
Powered Graphics Card
Identify the powered graphics card highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the PCIe power cable from the connector on the graphics card.
Push the PCIe latch to open the PCIe door.
Lift the graphics card away from the graphics card slot.
Intrusion Switch
Identify the intrusion switch highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the intrusion switch cable from its connector on the system board.
Unroute the cable from the routing guides on the system.
Remove the screw that secures the intrusion switch to the system.
Remove intrusion switch along with its cable from the system.
Heat Sink
Identify the heat sink highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board. Loosen in reverse order.
Push the four retaining clips inwards to unlock the heat sink assembly from the system board.
Lift the heat sink assembly from the system board.
Use the alcohol pad to clean the heatsink (as shown in the video).
Front Fan Assembly
Identify the front fan assembly highlighted in blue.
Remove the screw that secures the fan assembly from the chassis.
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
Lift at an angle and remove the fan assembly away from the chassis.
Rear Fan Assembly
Identify the rear fan assembly highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the fan cables from the system board.
Remove the screws that secure the fan assembly to the chassis.
Lift at an angle and remove the fan assembly away from the chassis.
Power supply unit
Identify the power supply unit highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the ATX CPU processor power cables from its connectors on the system board.
Open the clips on the power supply cover.
Unroute the CPU ATX power cables.
Remove the screws that secure the power supply cover from the system.
Slide and lift the power supply cover from the system.
Disconnect the SATA power cable from the ATX SYS connector on the system board.
Disconnect the PCIe power cables from the PCIe holder.
Open the bottom air shroud cover.
Unroute the PCIe power cables.
Remove the screws that secure the power supply unit from the system.
Slide and lift the power upply unit off the system.
I/O Bracket
System Board
Identify the system board highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the chassis.
Remove the screws that secure the rear bottom air shroud to the system board.
Remove the rear bottom air shroud from the system board.
Remove the screws that secure the system board to the chassis.
Lift the system board at an angle and remove the system board off the chassis.
Install
System Board
Identify the system board location highlighted in blue.
Slide the front I/O ports on the system board into the front I/O slots on the chassis, aligning the screw holes.
Install the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
Align and place the rear bottom air shroud on the system board.
Install the screws that secure the rear bottom air shroud to the system board
Route the speaker cable through the routing guide on the chassis.
Connect the speaker cable to the connector on the system board.
I/O Bracket
Power supply unit
Identify the power supply unit location highlighted in blue.
Place the power supply unit on the system and slide it towards the back of the system.
Install the screws to secure the power supply unit to the system.
Route the PCIe power cables.
Close the bottom air shroud cover.
Connect the PCIe power cables to the slots on the PCIe holder.
Connect the SATA power cable to the ATX SYS connector on the system board.
Align and place the power supply cover over the power supply unit.
Install the screws to secure the power supply cover to the system.
Route the CPU ATX power cables.
Close the clips on the power supply cover.
Connect the ATX CPU processor power cables to its connectors on the system board.
Rear Fan Assembly
Identify the rear fan assembly location highlighted in blue.
Install the fan assembly at an angle into the slot in the chassis.
Install the screws that secures the fan assembly to the chassis.
Connect the fan cables to the connector on the system board.
Front Fan Assembly
Identify the front fan assembly location highlighted in blue.
Insert the fan assembly at an angle into the slot in the chassis and align with the tabs.
Install the screw that secures the fan assembly to the chassis.
Connect the fan cable to the connector on the system board.
Heat Sink
Identify the heat sink location highlighted in blue.
Apply a pea sized amount of thermal material as shown.
Install the heat sink assembly on the system board and align with screw holes.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the heatsink to the system board. Tighten in order. Do not over tighten.
Pull the four retaining clips outwards to lock the heat sink assembly to the system board.
Intrusion Switch
Identify the intrusion switch location highlighted in blue.
Install the intrusion switch along with its cable into the slot on the system.
Install the screw to secure the intrusion switch to the system.
Route the cable through the routing guides on the system.
Connect the intrusion switch cable to its connector on the system board.
Powered Graphics Card
Identify the powered graphics card location highlighted in blue.
Align the powered graphics card with the PCIe slot on the system board.
Using the alignment post, push the graphic card connector firmly into the PCIe slot and press down firmly.
Close the PCIe door, locking it into position.
Connect the PCIe power cable from the connector on the graphics card.
Internal Hard Drive Cage
Identify the hard drive cage location highlighted in blue.
Aglin and insert the hard drive cage into the slot on the chassis.
Install the screws that secure the hard drive cage to the chassis.
Connect the SATA power and SATA data cables to the connectors on the system board.
Hard Drive Fan Assembly
Identify the hard drive fan assembly location highlighted in blue.
Align and install the hard drive fan assembly into the slot in the chassis.
Install the screws that secure the fan assembly to the chassis.
Route the SATA power, thermal sensor, PCIe and fan controller cables through the bottom air shroud cover.
Close the lid of the bottom air shroud cover.
Connect the SATA power, thermal sensor, PCIe, and fan cables to the system board.
Front bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue.
Align the front bezel tabs with the slots on the system.
Install and rotate the front bezel towards the system, then snap it into place.
Solid State Drive
M.2 heat sink
Identify the M.2 heat sink location highlighted in blue.
Align and place the M.2 heat sink over the solid state drive.
Tighten the captive screws to secure the M.2 heat sink to the system board.
Memory Modules
Hard Drive Assembly internal
Bottom air shroud
Identify the bottom air shroud location highlighted in blue.
Install the bottom air shroud in slot on the system board.
Install the screws that secure the bottom air shroud from the system board.
Connect the cables to the system board.
Route the cables through the routing guides on the system board.
Place and lock the bottom air shroud cover.
PCIe Holder
Identify the PCIe holder location highlighted in blue.
Align and place the PCIe holder on the slot over the front fan.
Push the PCIe holder lock into the lock position to secure the PCIe holder to the system.
Route the PCIe power cables to the slots on the PCIe holder.
Connect the PCIe power cables to the PCIe holder.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue.
Align the top air shroud over the heat sink and system board.
Install and press the top air shroud down until the tabs click into place.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs with the slots and install the side cover on the system.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the side-panel latch to the locked position.
