Removal
Base Cover
Align the system with the outline to enable the AR lock.
Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.
Slide the blue tab to release the base cover from the system.
Slide the cover toward the back and lift to remove from the system.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue.
Lift the tabs to release the bezel from the system.
Slightly lift the front of the system to release the bezel from system.
Front Panel
Identify the front panel highlighted in blue.
Lift the front panel up to open.
Optical Drive
Identify the optical drive drive (ODD) highlighted in blue
Disconnect the data and power cables from the optical disk drive.
Close the front panel before releasing the ODD from the system.
Press the release latch.
Slide the optical disk drive (ODD) assembly out of the system.
Install
Optical Drive
Identify the optical disk drive (ODD) location highlighted in blue
Slide the optical disk drive assembly into the system until it clicks.
Open the front panel before connecting the cables.
Connect the data and power cables from the optical disk drive.
Front Panel
Identify the front panel highlighted in blue.
Close the front panel door. Push down until it clicks into place.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue
Align the tab holders on the system and push the bezel until the tabs click into place.
Base Cover
Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.
Install the cover on the system and slide it until it clicks into place.
Slide the blue tab to lock the cover to the system.
